A MESSAGE FROM THE BOYDS!
Thanks to the great work and support of so many, Dog Park Dash is two thirds of the way to the finish line of 100 new dog parks in Tennessee!
As many of you know, I have been asked to continue serving as the president of the University of Tennessee System. Jenny and I do our best to make it to all the DPD check presentations, as well as the new park openings.
With half of the 2018 winners opening their dog parks this year, as well as 2019 winners coming online, we have decided to push the final year of DPD to 2021. This not only allows us to participate in most of the new park openings this year, but also allows communities to really prepare for the final application year.
Also this spring, the Pet Friendly Tennessee campaign will begin and we encourage all Tennessee Communities to get involved so we can help make Tennessee the Most Pet Friendly State!
We encourage interested communities to talk to previous DPD winners and get suggestions, key learnings, and insights so your 2021 application will be the best it can be. Thank you for participating. We look forward to seeing you soon!
